Following a unique style celebrating fashion, colour and fabrics, the corporate interiors for TTK Group, parent of the highly popular Thilakawardhana Textiles Department Stores, attempts to create a work space that is pleasurable while being efficient. With a touch of midcentury modern in the design style, large windows over looking the roof gardens and distant views, it is a work space as unique as the brand itself. Located in the top two floors of the newly built extension to the department store in Kiribathgoda, (Designed by KWA Architects and silver award winner at Muse Design Awards, New York 2020) the TTK Group corporate offices run the operation for the entire network of retail outlets. Open plan workstation areas are airy and filled with natural light and views in to the roof garden while the executive floor has spacious frame less glass cubicles for the directors. The carpets and ceiling design is done to match the "colour and fabric' theme. A touch of dark timber and laminate finishes adds the highlights to the palette of colours. Warm LED lighting, commissioned artwork all using fabric collages creates a cozy and pleasant working atmosphere.
